I'm waiting for the great leap forward. I'm tryin' to hold the wind up with a sail. I used to be disgusted, and now I try to be amused. I'm so bored with the USA - but what can I do? I believe in the power that can even the score. I'm tryin' to get to heaven before they close the door. I'm survivin' every lonely day. I woke up this mornin' and got myself a beer. All I wanna do is thank you even though I don't know who you are. When I was seventeen, it was a very good year. I looked away and she ran away from me today, I'm such a lonely man. I got a feelin' called the blues oh lord since my baby said goodbye. I'm goin' down to the Greyhound station, gonna get a ticket to ride. I got a '69 Chevy with a 396, Fuelie heads and a Hurst on the floor. I've seen that movie too. I saw her standing there. I was the walrus, but now I'm John. Regrets, I've had a few, but then again too few to mention. One more cup of coffee 'fore I go. « less
