I was just on ComingSoon.net and they mentioned that McKay did an interview with some website and mentioned that he and Ferrell have some projects they plan on doing in the coming years and one of them is Anchorman 2, which will get going within the next few years.

YAY! Anchorman seems like one of those comedies that really could do a sequel, and actually get it right, assuming the originals come back.
All I have to say is this: I need another Anchorman Battle of the News Teams. Best scene ever.
