Most of our videos that are titled “mitOsis Live” were either this last weekend or the weekend before. Colby and I (james) Have been doing improv togeather in the same group for a long time. Last year at a show in Atlanta though, we reached some sort of new level of esp with eachother which made us kick everything up a notch. All I want to do is comedy for a living. I was nominated for a Metrolina theater Award for Most Dramatic Male in a drama for Top dog Underdog. It was a hard and mean character to play (booth) but if it wasn’t for comedy, I don’t think I could have played this evil guy so seriously. If anyone is reading this scouting talent, I need a job. I don’t expect one in less than a month, but by then I better be slinging burgers or something. Unemployment has limited patience.

My friend Colby and I have been doing comedy in Charlotte for a decade collectivly. We hope there are some people who’ve been to our live shows on this site, to watch us and the other really funny people. We do alot of improv over sketch simptly because we have a lot of respect for it and it’s such a rush to not have any idea what you’re doing, but you’re possitive that everything is going to be ok no matter what. Even if the building explodes all went acording to the plan…which didn’t exsist. We’re going into our third live show as a comedy duo. It’s awesome. All of our viral videos, our movie, and our live show was…improvised out of one very long conversation we had. I’m very proud. If anyone is in our area in Charlotte NC please let me know and come out to our live show. We hope that the comedy community in this area won’t let improv and sketch start to lag on the gains they’ve made in the last few years. It’s hard to get the town to notice it’s artists. They love us in Atlanta, and even though I may hear improvisers on local Charlotte radio who I love, I know that they’re not from Charlotte.
