My favorite part of it is:

“Many al Qaeda members, including Uzbeks and Arabs, and Taliban militants took refuge in North and South Waziristan, as well as in other areas on the Pakistani side of the border after U.S.-led forces ousted the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2001.

From sanctuaries in the lawless border belt, the Taliban have orchestrated their insurgency against the Afghan government and the U.S. and NATO forces supporting it.”

Reading is FUN-damental. Pakistan has been the source of most of the people involved with 911 and subsequent Al-Quaeda activity (Many have been Arabs and Egyptians schooled in Pakistani madrassas. It takes a lot of effort to ignore that.

But, always good to have a healthy debate.

If a few hundred more people in a couple of Florida counties had gotten off their duffs in 2000, we wouldn’t have had 5 years of war in Iraq. No choice? You decide.
