I don't want to say I do everything, but I can do a lot.

I direct, write, shoot, I edit - I like to be stuck in dark rooms - and sometimes I produce.

My first feature documentary is called "Call it Democracy." Obviously, we weren't speaking the title to each other when we came up with it. Try saying "It's called Call it Democracy" at a film party. Or to your parents. So, instead I'd get all stiff and say, "the title is ..." It was once called Everywhere But Florida (which is funny sort of) but by the time it got done it would have had to be called "Everywhere" which would have made everyone depressed about voting. Or counting.
