Mary Birdsong

I make the ha-ha, and the hee-hee. Sometimes a haw.

She's best known as Deputy Kimball on Reno 911 (seasons 3,4 & 5), but to give you an idea of her acting range, Mary was recently on Andy Daly's hit show "Review" on Comedy Central (as Daly's girlfriend/stripper "Shampoo"), and on Cinemax's The Knick (as the foul-mouthed, racist, drunken Irish grandma Fionnula Sears). She has appeared on the BIG screen opposite George Clooney in The Descendants (directed in Alexander Payne). And Mary also played two different bitchy mean ladies-- as Zach Galifiniakis' bitchy mean ex-wife in "It's Kind Of A Funny Story," and as Kristin Stewart's bitchy mean step-mom in Adventureland. You may have seen her opposite Katherine Heigel in Killers, demonstrating vibrators for Patrick Dempsey in Made Of Honor, as a correspondent on The Daily Show, and in Artie Lange's Beer League. She's even been on Broadway-- singing and dancing in "Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me." & Hairspray. Mary also starred as Mona Ramsey in the rock musical Tales Of the City at A.C.T. in San Francisco. The music is by two members of THE SCISSOR SISTERS. As a singer, you can hear Mary as the lead singer in the bands 99 Cent Whore, and Cottonhead.
