It is funny, but, yes, anyone who thinks this is real is crazy. This what we call a promotional stunt. Cera in knocked up, they're all part of the apatow family. It's like Alec Baldwin popping onto My Name is Earl during sweeps.

This seems like a director who doesn’t know how to get what he wants out of his actors, so he’ll take it out on the actors. If the director is calling the shots maybe he should have called for a time out on himself.
