Hello all,
Last December we embarked on an adventure through the forests of Southern Illinois. It was called "Time to Evolve," a 30-minute short film written and directed by Sean Brown and starring the Magic Hugs team. Nine months later we’re proud to say it's completed, online and hilarious!!!
This was Sean's thesis film for school. It took four months to shoot during breaks, weekends and in between classes. We had epic battles with the snow, rain, wind, cold, and sometimes even each other - but it was definitely a worthwhile experience.
"Time to Evolve" features H.D. Motyl, who you may recognize from “The Mailbox” and the role of Dr. Frankenstein from “Bringin' Back Suck-It,” and Taylor Hornung of “Pregnant Dan" fame.
We added a bunch of behind-the-scenes pictures to our extras page, but please make sure you check out the official website (http://www.TimetoEvolveMovie.com) for the trailer and full film.

A sweet new Fannypack themed skit is posted with some fun twists and turns. And the big news this week is that our skit "The Mailbox" was an official selection for the L.A. Comedy Shorts Festival. That means we'll be going out to Los Angeles to attend and screen our film in early March. The festival dates are March 5-8. We're still waiting to hear our specific screening time, when we know we'll let you know and hopefully any fans in the L.A. area can come out.....oh yeah there will be a Q&A.
One love,
Magic Hugs
