Narration is scant in David Fincher's thriller, but Freeman nails the film's final line with such world-weary perfection, it qualifies as one of the decade's great achievements in VO.

6. A Raisin in the Sun (2008)

Morgan must have been itchy to get back in the VO booth if he was willing to lend his golden voice to a made-for-TV movie starry Sean P. "Diddy" Combs. The voice-over here is not Freeman's best, but it does mark his first (and probably only) collaboration with the acting genius behind the Sean Jean clothing line.

5. Million Dollar Baby (2004)

Freeman won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his onscreen performance in this 2004 Clint Eastwood boxing drama. But let's be honest, the award was really for his voice.

4. War of the Worlds (2005)

A little bit of Morgan Freeman voice-over goes a long way. After a crisp and commanding opening narration, audiences were left hoping the voice of Morgan would return to lend some humanity to this mechanical sci-fi spectacle. Alas, no such luck. We were forced to watch Tom Cruise awkwardly battle aliens with no help from Freeman's gravy tones.

3. March of the Penguins (2006)

Who would have thought a feature-length documentary about penguins would capture the imagination of audiences world-wide? We all know the truth- people didn't pay $8.50 to see penguins hump in slow-motion, they paid to hear 90 minutes of Freeman's sweet, sweet vocal candy.

Voicing Frederick Douglass in this epic Ken Burns documentary, Morgan captures all the qualities of a great leader: courage, dignity, idealism ..... zzzzzz zzzzzzzzz zzzzz zzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzz uh, oh, uh, yeah, his voice was really awesome and uh,.... and uh..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzz...

If life in prison means getting your story told by the honey-dipped vocal chords of Morgan Freeman, then we'll skip the rock hammer and go straight to the library's opera record collection, thank you very much.
