with Will Hines and Erik Tanouye. Erik and Will spent over three years making this video. At one point it involved a crew of well over 400 people. Production almost halted when the stunt dog was accidentally and tragically killed. But after a moving letter writing campaign by the gaffers, filming resumed. The back lighting on Will's head alone required seven men with 14 Arri 12 sun lamps all moving in sync. Will and Erik were in rehearsals for 2 full summers, studying with their teachers from the Stella Adler school. Then the short prevew run at Steppenwolf. Then the barnstorming tour of southern churches. Then the surprise drop-ins at jazz clubs in Spanish Harlem. And finally this product. Though no work of art can ever truly be perfect, this one may come as close to sewing shut the seams of human imperfection as any one could. < less
