Playwright, screenwriter, theatre and film director, etc.: I have a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, a M.A. from the Gallatin School of Interdisciplinary Studies at NYU and a MFA from the Yale School of Drama Playwriting dept. Plus the UCLA Extension. Top 10 Finalist in the 2010 Zoetrope screenplay awards for "PRAY WITH A BULLET" (but it's not particularly funny but there are lots of dead bodies, Bulgarians and Renaissance paintings in it, if that's your thing). My short comic film "FIRST NIGHT" was shown at the 2010 Flagstaff and Ventura Film Festivals. Plays - full lengths, shorts, dramas and comedies - produced or read Off Off Broadway in NYC, New Jersey, Connecticut, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Proudest and happiest, though basically obscure, moment in the theatre, an earlier version of my play "BLACK FLAMINGOS" being read at the Yale Rep with an excellent cast that included Amy Ryan and directed by Obie Award winner Evan Yionoulis. « less
