Judd Apatow is a producer, director, and comedy writer from Soyosset, NY. Judd is best known for his influence on Hollywood comedy and for developing the television shows Freaks And Geeks, Undeclared, and Girls. Judd also produced and directed the films The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People, and This Is 40. A close confidant of the Funny Or Die family, Judd has worked extensively with Adam McKay and Will Ferrell over the past decade. After writing on the Ben Stiller Show and the Larry Sanders Show, he expanded into film, writing the scripts for Heavyweights and Celtic Pride and producing The Cable Guy, Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy, and Kicking And Screaming. Judd has also worked on the films Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Begin Again, Wanderlust, The Five-Year Engagement, Zookeeper, Bridesmaids, Get Him To The Greek, Year One, Pineapple Express, Step Brothers, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Drillbit Taylor, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Superbad, Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, and Fun with Dick and Jane. Most recently, Judd produced and directed the film Trainwreck starring Amy Schumer, and is working on the new Pee-wee Herman film set to debut on Netflix in March 2016.
