After dropping out of The University of Western Ontario’s Bachelor of Science degree, Josh threw out his aspirations of becoming a dentist to pursue comedy. Since then Josh has won a Canadian Comedy Award and is nominated again this year. He has played Just For Laughs and Massey Hall with his sketch group The Sketchersons, and his stand up has been featured on XM radio. In 2008 as one half of the duo 7 Minutes in Heaven, Josh won the prestigious Tim Sims Encouragement Award and showcased on The Cream of Comedy for Canadian national broadcast. He has written and will appear in a short “Doug Wants his Stuff Back” for The Comedy Network.

This summer was the premier of Josh’s first play The Goodbye Rounds, which he co-wrote with Robbie Shapiro at the Toronto Fringe Festival. After rave reviews the play is now being work-shopped for the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company.
