I'm an Advertising Copywriter in Toronto. In my spare time, I like to act. I'm loved/hated by Canadians at the angry Scottish Mini Man in the Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Minis commercials. I'm adored by Americans and the British as the voice of Dan the Chameleon in the Hubba Bubba Max commercial...

I'm adored by Americans and the British as the voice of Dan the Chameleon in the Hubba Bubba Max commercial. I'm represented for Voice and On-Camera acting by the awesome talent agent AMI (Artist Management Inc.). I like making funny little films, drawing cartoons, writing songs and encouraging people to recycle and to not idle their cars. I'm so green, in fact, that Laurie David would marry me. If she was attracted to me at all. Oh, and hey, I love meeting people who want to collaborate on making films so we can all get rich and famous. So directors, editors, cinematographers, sound people... Drop me a line!

more >Stand-up comedy at the Black Swan Tavern in Toronto on Sep. 9, 2008. This is the end-of-class show for a stand-up comedy workshop Josh took this summer through Bad Dog Theatre. Each week he would bring in his thoughts and the teacher - Dawn Whitwell - would offer some advice on what to keep. Most of Josh's thoughts involved being alone and depressed. For the show he decided to talk about the stain on his bedroom wall, his sleep tips, why he wants to die in a nuclear war, how to personalize Happy Birthday messages on Facebook, his love for an intern at work and why he wishes he were gay. You'll laugh, you'll cry. Mostly cry, actually. Stand-up comedy at the Black Swan Tavern in Toronto on Sep. 9, 2008. Apparently a week before, her and Josh had joked briefly about her staying on stage and bantering with him. Josh forgot about this "plan." Josh likes to think that her standing there is why people weren't laughing at the beginning. They were confused and distracted. That's Josh's story and he's sticking to it.)

The Laugh Resort was generous enough to book someone they'd never seen (Josh) on short notice (not the 4 weeks it usually takes). And Josh repaid the favour by, um, showing the audience the contents of his purse. < less123 views |

Laurie started http://www.stopglobalwarming.org and produced the movie An Inconvenient Truth. I'm an environmentalist. And it seems that Laurie likes neurotic, bald, Jewish fellows. Or can at least tolerate them for many years. So I think we'll work well together. Let's see if she agrees. If anyone knows her, please ask her to watch this. < less171 views |
