Jonathan originally hails from the cornfields of Illinois and holds a B.F.A. in Acting from the Professional Actors Studio at the University of Illinois. During the summer of 1993, he studied under Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley at the prestigious British American Drama Academy (BADA) in Oxford, England. Jonathan received glowing reviews for his creation of the role of Roy Glenn in the critically acclaimed, world premiere of Zsa Zsa Gershick's "Bluebonnet Court" at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre in late 2006. Jonathan has appeared on "Malcolm in the Middle", HBO's "Carnivale", "ER" and AMC's "MAD MEN". He has several short films under his belt, most recently "A Postcard from the Volcano" by Josh Tate. "Side Effect", by Liz Adams (2008, AFI), has been nominated for a Golden Chainsaw award at the Dead by Dawn Film Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. A man of many talents, Jonathan is also an avid home brewer and won a Gold Medal (English Ale category) at the America's Finest City Homebrew Competition in San Diego. A one-time podcaster and blogger, Jonathan has finally found his creative output as the host of the Ask You Movie Review.
