I have to echo the sentiments of a few below. If you haven't heard of Argento's Susperia and you are taken aback by Hitchcock's marketing wit, maybe cinema isn't the part of pop culture for you to target with your zingers. Maybe settle back and keep watching Idol until it all fades away.

The point has been made that it is all the same concert. In which case, someone on the audio crew or control booth should be fired. I'm not sure how unusual it is for a singer to air-sing her breath when also doing dances; playback of a recording may be standard on the road for big shows. I defend hot women.

I have to admit this is a funny concept and cuts together well, even though to be honest I like Mel and hope there is a legal ruling that causes opportunists in Hollywood to think twice before recording and leaking personal conversations and info. Also, his career is not over. I'll see the two flicks he's already shot, and Leo or no the Viking movie would be great. He usually uses unknowns anyway.

Unfortunately I chose to promote this link on a day that turned out to be Holocaust memorial day. It could easily set some people off. I think in context I still stand behind the "jokes" and comments, but I wish I'd been clued in enough to hold off. Miserable.
