Jacky Jasper born 1977 Hollywood California. Jacky never attended public school, Jacky was home schooled. At 21 he recorded Dr. Doom with Kool Keith toured the globe with Ice-T- and returned home to release Keep My Shit Clean (Indie Release). The album charted in all markets it made the Billboard top 15 with no promotion and owning all proceeds, Jacky got paid! He then retired from recording records, he got into the music business white collar office work. He studied fashion in Europe and became a student to the legendary blues man IKE TURNER. While studying the blues he released Day Of The Jackal straight to the internet, as well as an album titled Trans Euro Xpress. After winning his first Grammy with Ike Turner for Blues Album Of The Year, Jacky’s next recording will not be the traditional hip hop sound. He formed a new band and their sound is Blues Rock ‘N Hip Hop combined. He calls it Hood Rock. It’s Airy with the Low end Theory Loud Guitars, dark sketchy lyrics, with melodic hooks. The Jacky Jasper Band album titled Jacky’s Dead will be released Jan 2009. His latest 7th Veil comes with an all-star cast. Recorded 5yrs ago with the last recordings of the Punk Funk Legend RICK JAMES. The last recordings of his Blues mentor Ike Turner, as well as tracks featuring Snoop Dog, Jewel, Kurupt, Rascoe, Kool Keith, Ice-T, Coco, Silk Tha Shocker, and Flava Flav. It’s truly a classical piece of work. 7th Veil album titled Stoned will be released late October 2008.
