Writer-director Jesse Dykstra obtained his B.A. in Cinema from Azusa Pacific University, and continued his studies at the American Film Institute's prestigious Directing Program. Dykstra's first two films, Green Season and Christopher Brennan Saves the World, have won numerous awards at festivals throughout the country. His feature script titled High School Newspaper Wars was named both finalist (top 1%) and runner-up in the 2011 Scriptapalooza screenwriting contest. Most recently, Dykstra founded the production company Fresh Face Pictures, LLC. He is currently developing several projects for film, television and new media.
