Yeah, it’s probably just a coincidence, actually. You should probably get some rest now.

seems like one or two people always get 10 to 15 votes right at the last moment also. i run the numbers to, then i breakdown and go cap shit on everyone about once every two weeks. they should make it that you cant post a cap,or place a vote, till you have voted on all submissions befor you. this would curtail the last minute vote and you would have an accurte count throughout the day ( try to get 10 or 15 friends to call in a 1:00 am and they have to die bomb 400 caps so they can vote for thier friend)

I notice a couple of days ago that nearly everyone had a funny to die ratio or 4:1 and yesterday it was nearly the opposite. The whole thing smells bad.

Mine are usually even, too. Oh well. It doesn’t matter, anyway. The person who reads & judges the caps, apparently doesn’t take die votes into consideration. He/She posted under general discussions in the forums.

I did complain about die-bombing in one of my caps. I realized it was pointless, but was frustrated to see some really good caps (not mine) get a ton of die votes for no apparant reason. I don’t ever expect to win one, not why I post, but it still irks me to see really good ones get bombed. Probably just needed to vent and get it out of my system.

Let me get out of this grasshopoer yoga stance and find my center, Ok, ready- People? Why do we submit captions? Do you really expect fame or free T-shirts that will permeate into the essence of your being and life will make a turn for celebrity status? We do it becase 1)We enjoy it and think were funny 2) We do it to entertain our FOD freinds 3) We do it to test our wit 4) innate competitive drive as humans -- FOLKS- #4 HAS has ink in the well for every, thus lets stick to 1-3.
Tomorrow lets F with the die bombers-Everyone put in obscure funny celebrity quotes, regardless of the pic FOD presents- As a high school teacher I think it everyday, WHO IS FUCKING WITH WHO HERE- IF you choose- send the idea to your fans….FUNNY FRIDAY!! Screw the die bombers who find empowerment in sabotaging a great idea.

I am not really interested in the “die” bombers (or die fairies, as I like to call them). I just thought it was interesting that you would have 32 people vote for one caption evenly divided and one or two captions away only 2 or 4 people vote and they are evenly divided. And this is happening for over half the people posting captions. Actually, I found it statistically interesting.

I like my die votes, being Hindi, each time one of my captions dies, it comes back in another, stronger, elevated form. :)
