Send them a note using the help below. They have been responsive when I ask questions. I hope no one is doing anything there that would cost Kim. I find it hard to believe people use bot servers to fake their stats- but those people will not make it in the long run.

I believe what Adam McKay has told me- if your work is good and funny, you’ll get found. I would imagine he knows Kim already.

I think that when the FOD people say, “The logarithym that creates these rankings is very complicated and based on many numbers and factors”, it really means, “Some programmer who is no longer here created it and we don’t understand it ourselves”. I wish they would revisit how that works and have a programmer go over it becasue the sats in my video statistics page are way way off from the ones that show on the videos that everyone can see…So there is something awry.

Please understand that this has nothing to do with being on the front page, but on the list that gets you there. Just about every video that receives over 50 views is there. As long as your videos keep getting views, they are still there. Kim’s get lots of hits. Her videos were everywhere and in a second they were gone.

I’m rooting for you and the change that must come – all from my closet! People do listen to me from in here (I like to think).

Yeah these people would cheat for no damn reason they are not gonna get paid for this they are also not getting discover by famous celebrity’s so why so serious? but yeah we had never been on the buzz list but we really don’t care for it neither we only do this for fun and to be funny and we have no goal’s what so ever to get discover by shooting and editing videos I love & respect the friends we have on Funny or Die and I look more forward to work with the people on FOD on videos for free and not have as many views and votes but just say it was only for fun and to be funny then to spend money on stuff and make other profile to visit our sites to vote more and comment and bla bla blaaa to get famous and try to get more views or more votes on videos cause we don’t take it that serious, we love and respect you Paul & Kim.

there is no real prize for getting these “phantom” big numbers- 50,000 views, 700 “diggs ", all in the first 4 hours of posting ??… (not that I look at these things)…even if you get this "immortal” status, what do you get? a t shirt? Ok.
being seen is cool, but the number of people seeing your video doesnt matter….you are not competing with will ferrell and paris hilton, they are celebrities. You are an online poster. be happy with the small audiences you can muster honestly. again, Punk rock or punk comedy is not about becoming mainstream and the next will ferrell, its about doing your own thing without being beholden to exhisting comedy status quo….just ask as many people as possible to check out yer stuff and add you if they like it….you cant fake the number of fans that add you…not in the hundreds or thousands…kims stuff is great, thats all that matters.

as much as i don’t think this just “happened” to kim (and by that i mean, “yes i do believe she has been black listed for some sort of bullshit that we will never understand”), it’s just the way these places work. people are shitty and they get shittier when they have power over something. i’m just gonna keep enjoying her genius and hope she keeps posting…if she doesn’t i’ll go watch her wherever she’s putting up content.

and no, this has NOTHING to do with getting on the front page…this is about fairness…or at least something vaguely resembling it…

Everyone who makes videos who is posting here has been or is on the buzz list. It’s vast. If you have the patience to go through it all, you’ll find some of your videos.

all i can say is, who cares? i mean, that sucks that kim’s not on the lists anymore, but is that important anyway? we’ve been on the lists and on the front page and i’ve never gotten a call from comedy central or mtv or something. never expected to. actually, i didn’t even know about buzz lists until you guys told me about them. when we get a lot of views, it doesn’t change anything. funny votes don’t change anything. nobody’s gonna swoop in and magically make us successful. just gotta keep plugging, keep earning fans, keep making connections in the real world. if there were a quick and easy way to get rich, we’d all be rich. just gotta have faith. faith. faith. faith. faith. faith. faith. faith. faith. faith. i’m not trying to sound cold – it sucks for kim – but she’s still allowed to comment and post videos, and that’s all we feel is important anyway.

Once again not about being on the front page, but the fact that the opportunity no longer exists for you. It’s a bout a glitch that has affected a few individuals or selectively being messed with. It’s not about getting rich either. It’s about having the same fair shake and account functions as everybody else.

Shouldn’t all accounts have the same rights? Is it right for funny or die to take rights from viewers and uploader with no explanation? Thanks for bringing this up.

There are almost 14,000 videos listed on Buzz List….mine aren’t. IGo check out TODAY’s Buzz List….not the ALL TIME list…the Today’s BUZZ….if you’ve uploaded something recently…you’ll be there, RSSB is, and so is Lilly18, and don’t forget Foottasktic. is there. Just look around, you’ll find your videos. Go thru all the pages….you’ll see what we’re talking about.

As I mentioned in the blog, Kim shows up in every list except the most buzz today.

I wasn’t aware…and logarithmic analysis aside, there might be something by keeping it tight and thus more potent…

forgive me, if I sound glib, but given some of the chosen “Chosen Ones” (I hardly found Paris’s parlor trick entertaining…)……..

This sucks.

Whatever the reason, it takes some of the fun out of FOD.

The folks here are awesome, and don’t deserve to be treated like computer hackers. I wonder what’s up.

Perhaps a good plan of action for Kim’s fans is to mass e-mail the “powers that be” so that they have to notice us.

If Kim’s fans all bug the heck (politely of course) out of the webmasters they are bound to notice, and hopefully answer our questions.

If they ignore us, well… then I’ll be even unhappier. While personally… I hardly ever visit the front page anymore (too many awesome vids to keep up with anyhow…) it really takes away from the fun of FOD to think of users being treated this way.

I’ll wait to act… but if other folks feel so inclined… I think this would be the best way to get their attention. (There is power in numbers.)

We don’t want anything crazy or demanding… but to know WHY this is happening, and if they will fix it. What’s the point of the FOD vote if randomly folks get blacklisted? Their policies and such should be clear on the matter… whether they are or not I don’t know. Until I hear more from you folks, I’ll check into their “terms of service” jargon and see what I can find.

If folks want to join with me in standing up for Kim… mail me at “The_Experiment” group site (which Kim and I created)… and I’ll add you to our group members, and we can organize and lodge a protest from there. “The_Experiment”… was always intended to be a community forum for the awesome artists on FOD… and perhaps its purpose should evolve to include standing up for ourselves.

Let’s hope… that this is all a big fuck-up… if not, at least we can make our voices heard.

The members/artists/users/fans of FOD are what make FOD strong… we deserve the RESPECT to at least know WHY this is happening, and to demand that they fix Litho’s account. She is NOT a spammer.

i’m one of kim fan and i hope for the best for her and she make freakin awesome vid.

I know it sucks that Kim’s videos have been removed from the Most Buzz pages; but if her fan base continues to grow, aren’t people watching? You can’t let what is pretty normal behavior for the world to stop you from whatever direction you want to go. And I know it’s not about getting on the front page, but about the possibility that someone (which could be anyone) getting blacklisted. As to what to do about it, that’s difficult; unless you know some high people with lots of answers. In any case, keep us posted.

I know the mystery of the universe. I cannot, however, explain this.

Wow, I cant find mine anywhere either.

I’m not much of a fan for many of the vids on the front page. I prefer going to the recent section.

Anyway, it doesn’t seem right. Why don’t they respond back?
