Internships?

Hey, I’m moving to LA in a couple months and i was wondering if any one here new any thing about getting internships or low level jobs in the comedy field. Any advice or tips would be great. Thanks

I heard from a friend that Broken Lizard is hiring interns, cause I guess their business is picking up with multiple projects.

They’re the dudes that made Super Troopers and Beerfest. They seem super cool. Look into them when you get out there. Probably a fun working environment.

Not sure where to get a Broken Lizard number, but here’s what I’d do if I were you.

Find out a company the is distributing their next film, find their number, call them about the Broken Lizard project, and they’ll probably give you a number to direct you to a production office or Broken Lizard.

Through one of those companies, you could probably B.S. something about “I’m trying to reach Kevin Heffernan at Broken Lizard” and get a number.

Just say you are who you are and heard they were hiring for internships.

B.S.ing gets you far on those phone calls. Just be confident and you’ll get it.
