Superhero Movie- I hate it already!

I have seen most of David Zuckerman’s movies, and I do not see much in this “Superhero Movie.” Why is Drake Bell playing the character? I think it is just another lame old parody. I’m starting to think that parodies are pretty much the lowest form of comedy. What do you think?

Agreed,,, Meet the Spartans made me vomit in disgust all over the girl who was sitting in front of me. Fun fact : I married her the next day.

i agree, the movie looks terrible and drake from nickelodeon! really? ...parodys are a cash crop most of the time its because their filled with pop culture that the people go to see them

Seriously, it’s disgusting and really the lowest form of comedy. I mean they make fun of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton in Epic Movie.. Really? Don’t wanna pick a target that’s a little more challenging? What’s even worse is that they don’t even make clever jokes about them. (i.e. Paris Hilton is stupid and says “like” a lot.” What’s EVEN worse is that they introduce these celebrity look-a-likes in an extremely retarded fasion. Paris Hilton walks in, one of the characters says: “Paris Hilton?”. Ken Davitian shows up and the narrator says “He looked like the fat guy from Borat” These movies are doing nothing but insulting our intelligence.

I think it looks funny, especially Tracy Morgan’s lines at Professor X. I don’t really think about all that stuff of “things alreay been done before.” If it is funny, it is funny. I don’t care if it has been done before.

That’s my view on the movie, the previews make me want to see it. Also Drake Bell is actually a pretty good actor. I watch that Drake & Josh show every now and then and it’s actually pretty funny. Great writing and they know how to play their characters.

The movie does look cheesy at some times, but it is a funny cheesy to me.

It’s the type of thing that brings you the cheapest laughs possible though, I guess that’s why I don’t like it. Poking fun at celebrities in movies… It’s practically declaring: “We know this isn’t going to be a good comedy that people will want to watch years from now. We just want some money now.” There’s smart parodies and there’s dumb parodies, this looks like it’ll fall into the latter category. But hey I hope they prove me wrong.

The only thing that would make this “film” watchable is if it was only 40 minutes long and the rest was just a big screen “A night in Paris” a night vision love story.

I won’t watch these movies any more in order to save my sanity. But I do remember seeing Kentucky Fried Movie. “The popcorn you’re eating has been pissed in. Film at eleven”. At least THAT was original, unlike the aforementioned Paris Hilton gags.

I think the movies they make like scary movie, date movie, meet the spartans etc. all suck, yet i have to watch them! why god!

I’d rather eat my own feet that watch this fucking movie.
