What happened to Artie Lang?

I don’t have satellite radio, but I’ve been a Howard Stern fan since the 80’s. Then when Artie joined the show I loved it even more. Can’t get a straight answer on what happened to that fat lazy fuck. Will somebody tell me the whole story please?

My guess would be that Howie OD’d on his ego and the black hole it created sucked everyone else into it--JMHO—

There was a real blow up on Howard’s radio show over a month ago. Artie got into a fight on air with either his own or Howard’s personal assistant and quit and left the show right before they shut down for vacation. I think Artie’s been on a real binge lately with food, booze and whatever and he also pissed off some gay groups for probably some jokes they didn’t like. I got this info from Adam Carolla’s radio show where they replayed Artie’s fight and arguing with the PA and with Howard. It sounded real and it was very entertaining.

Yeah. I heard the fight on youtube. It was entertaining, but not worth Artie leaving the show.

I think Artie is taking a little break to clear his head and do some stand up. The show wants him back, and he knows how lucky he is to have that gig. He’ll be back.

David Spade was on Adam Carolla radio show talking about Artie and they played the audio from Howard’s Sirius show. Spade talked about his big,crazed, psycho ex assistant attacking him at 5am and how he was lucky he survived. Spade also talked about Chris Farley. I think Artie is making so much money doing standup that he really doesn’t need that income from Sirius radio but I do think he needs to stay busy working. He needs a break from the party circuit which is all around him. I think Spade said Farley stayed clean when SNL Loren Michaels laid down the rules..
