Best pairings resulting in comedy. This can be any connection between Comedians, Actors, Writers, Directors, Producers, Craft Services, even Characters such as The Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.

You can choose the obvious, dazzle everyone with your comedy knowledge, or go with something like “Bush and Cheney”.

Laurel and Hardy…as individuals they were very good but together I don’t think there has ever been a better team. Both could play the straight man or the funny one…..close 2nd maybe Beavis and Butthead. This should be a top 5 list..

I don’t like putting pressure on those who only know of a few duos.. and I don’t want to limit people who can think of more than 5.

Name as many as you see fit.

Jimmy Kimmel and Ben Affleck…..Hillary and Obama with Bill hanging around causing trouble is funny stuff…Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin were a riot and better than the Marx brothers.

Do you not understand the word Duo? Du comes from the French word “deux” meaning 2 and O comes from….... well wherever it comes from it definitely doesn’t mean three. Good answers though.

Sorry professor…I almost mentioned the 3 stooges and then I guess I would have gotten an “F” ....then FOD would have kicked me out of this FOD graduate school. I guess I was just a born to screw up and cause trouble…that’s 2 things I’m good at…:)...comedy duos not comedy teams…I get it now.

I always thought Dudley Moore was great with Peter Cook. Ren and Stimpey weren’t bad either.

Jackie Gleason and art Carney…I think Larry David and Woody Allen started working on a movie in April… Nancy Perlosi and Harry Reed…John and Lorenna Bobbitt minus 1/2 penis.

I second Bob and David. A couple of my other favorites include The Smothers Brothers and Conan O’Brien/Andy Richter.

A couple years ago the Smothers brothers were being interviewed and Dickie was asked about his son Dick Smothers Jr. who was starring in porn movies using his real name…the smirking and grinning from Tommy looking at Dick talk about his porn star son is one of the funniest videos EVER!!!

Larry David and Richard Lewis. I could just listen to their conversations for hours. I love the shit they argue about.

I never thought of Brian and Stewie Griffin as a comedic duo, I guess because they’re so new. But since the comeback of Family Guy, the creaters really honed in on that and did a great job!!

This is from left field, but “The Rock N’ Sock Connection” from WWF. Mick Foley and the Rock did some of the funniest shit i’ve ever seen when they were a tag team. It’s too bad I had to watch their god-awful wrestling inbetween skits. Those two really need to be in a buddy cop movie.

Yes, Matt Lucas and David Walliams!!! Genius. Dermot Morgan and Ardal O’Hanlon – played well off each other in “Father Ted.” Love it so much that I had to buy the DVDs.

I seen Little Britain live and it was great too, those 2 guys just go together so well
