ADS ADS ADS UUHHHHGGG!

So, the FOD website started out peeeerfect. No ADS. NONE.

Phase 2 of FOD. Ads promoting the artists work. Makes sense. FODs’ Homepage has movie trailer links, etc., alllways there, staring you in the face. OK, acceptable.

Phase 3 of FOD. Ads everywhere!! In my face! Garish colors detracting from the “chosen funny” I am attempting to watch. Not acceptable.

You may say, Hey SerpentsKiss why don’t you just use an ADBLOCKER!? I will tell you why. The FOD website functionality turns to crap that’s why.

So my question is….Is it just me? OR Are the ADS now overwhelming the FOD website?

might be just you serpentkiss…i only see an ad on the top and on the side. a lot less than other video sites that make you watch an ad before watching a video. that drives me nuts. i can’t imagine why you would need ad blocker. are you getting pop ups? do you have a virus? have you joined any new porn sites? :)

To pay the bills you can sell ads or have membership fees….or how about a telethon for FOD?...or they can try a tip jar..:) or maybe the owners love to write big fat checks for this worthy cause called FOD. I think this website has a very nice balanced business model in a very competitive business…

No pop ups. No virus just a cold. FOD is my one and only porn site, takes care of all my needs. Thanks for caring! :)

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. Since the owners have quite deep pockets, I was wondering why they added ADS to the site? Considering the replies to this post I would have to say it IS only me. I will now proceed to get over IT. Thank you for your help. Rock on!

i guess i don’t mind the ads. that’s kind of what the internet is about.

Much like a squawking parrot, yes, the ads are annoying. But after a while u tend 2 ignore them. Just focus on the videos. FOD used 2 be a tiny town, expanded so much that rather than raise the taxes {Fees, yick} runs the ads. I’d rather it be privately owned, sucking up $ from companies, than pay 4 it myself. Or it may be likened 2 an infant that grew up & now instead of $ 4 diapers, needs $ 4 college. Foolish & jealous thoughts, 2 expect wealthy owners 2 turn it into a charity 4 us. I hope they don’t sell it, then we’d prolly lose some freedoms here. Now THAT would suck.
