Goups

I don’t know how to find groups. I’m a part of one but don’t remember how I got there. How do you find groups? Can you start a group?

I can never find groups… I get invited to them sometimes, but I always try to find them through the site first to check them out but there’s no specific “Group” area of the site that I can detect.

I’m pretty sure you can only invite people to your group. You can start your own group by initing people to yours. Honestly, I really don’t know what the whole group thing does.

in order to set up a group, you have to be a a group – in the “edit profile” section, you can be male/female/or group. choose group and then save. when you get back to your profile page there will be a link that says ‘populate group”. then you can invite people to join your group. they have to accept the invitation in order to be a part of it.

once they accept, a link to their profile will show up on your page as a member. and your profile will show up on their page as a group they are a part of.

we started those mostly for people who have a sketch group profile on here and then want to show each individual as a member of the sketch group. but seems like they are taking off in other ways as well.

hope that makes sense. of course i was talking about “groups” not “goups” like the topic header. “goups” are pretty vulgar and i’d rather not get into it.

Ah yeah, that makes sense. So the other ways is like building a following as if you were Jim Jones or the Manson Family. Can we have one under the classification of Cults? I’ve got a feeling I’m going to become a sociopath one day.

somebody called my uncle a goup once at the subway (eatery not transportation)- he flipped out on that racist bastard.

So does everyone think it’s okay to have just a group or do we want it to be for sketches?

anyone can make a group. for any reason.

EXCEPT if it’s about goups.
