It could be said that Eclectic Schlock Productions are essentially an independent British filmmaker called Greig Johnson, working alongside a number of regular collaborators to produce low-to-no budget short films which - as well as being regularly screened by the Arts Council funded Short Circuits group - have been requested for the Leeds International Film Festival (Best Yorkshire Short 2002 & Best of UK Shorts 2003), Bristol Brief Encounters (as one of eleven finalists in the BBC Talent New Filmmaker Award 2004), Hull Short Film Festival and Stolac International Short Film Festival 2008. Eclectic Schlock films have also screened in London, at the Kino Aero in Prague, on BBC3 and Propeller TV. < less
