Blinklessness is a pretty hilarious concept for comedy that is unique.I think the mockumentary format was a good way to approach the rare disease. Good comedy usually comes from a parodic take on normal everyday life..."everybody blinks, right? It's an involuntary action!" Apparently not. I was actually surprised to find this short. I write sketch comedy and a sitcom and I thought of this same concept about a year ago but had a different take on it. The character who didn't blink but it wasn't because of an "dysfunctional occular motor function"; the character chose never to blink to prove his discipline and he did it in an arrogant way. His behavior led the other characters thinking he was both insane and a major douchebag.
