I meant to say this; I focus on celebrating the memories rather than feed on grief~ feel it's healthier for me... I've had my share & it's easier to share laughter. My husband, Gary, had an awesome sense of humor & adored me for mine.

What do you call yourself in Cheers?-
I do my rememberences via numbers- 627, our anniversary; 516, his b-day; 1217, day he died- little rituals bring comfort~ and when I see these numbers on a digital clock I smile & say 'hey sweetie'- even the 1217- that's as much a part of who we are than anything...

I like your way of remembering dates when you see them digitally. I noticed some of the dates you mention are close to dates that mean something to me. Our anniversary was 7-16, my daughters birthday is 5-14 and my husband died 12-8. Is your name pronounced the same as Shelia?
