Premiering Wednesday, June 2nd at 10/9C on the TV Guide Channel, “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” is a ground-breaking, critically acclaimed HBO comedy series created by and starring Larry David (Co-Creator, “Seinfeld”), who portrays himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his life. Self-centered, misanthropic and regularly difficult, Larry creates awkwardness and discomfort in social situations. His problems are often caused by his neuroses and obstinate faith in his understanding of ethics and etiquette.
Shot in a vérité style and featuring celebrities playing themselves, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” episodes are improvised by the actors from an outline created by David. The series also stars Cheryl Hines as David’s wife Cheryl, Jeff Garlin as David’s manager Jeff, and Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife Susie. “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is executive produced by Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Gavin Polone, Alec Berg, David Mandel, Jeff Schaffer, Tim Gibbons and Erin O’Malley. « less
