I'm going with DisgracedCop on this one. The writing was actually pretty funny... "Third question: Do you find me attractive?" I really enjoyed the skit's basis, that a Cash Cab host (or a fake one, at that) who is suicidal switches between being incredibly generous to incredibly intoxicated on the flip of a coin. Interesting concept indeed, and the driver (played by Sean Hunt) was a mixture of loneliness and self-loathing. I particularly liked the mini-gun.

I do agree with Disgraced in that the skit was just a tad over-stretched, and could have had a few seconds cut here and there to make it much tighter. The cutting from the driver to the passenger was also a bit sloppy; though cinematographer Dave Betten might not be to blame for that, the editor certainy is.

My opinion: Funny skit, with a humorous concept. The actors never tried to overplay the punchlines, and the writing never took the subject matter 'too far,' as they say. With a decent camera, and better editing software, I think that VGP might really start producing some FOD Exclusive-level material.

Favorite line: "What wou- *sips beer* What would you do if I hit this woman right here?"

I thought that the concept of an interview do put some of Steve's (excuse me, Ptown Steve's) jokes on display was clever, though I felt that ChelseyT22 sounded a bit TOO rehearsed. I thought that the concept of an interview do put some of Steve's (excuse me, Ptown Steve's) jokes on display was clever, though I felt that ChelseyT22 sounded a bit TOO rehearsed. I would have almost liked a two-camera approach, like Extra and Access Hollywood do quite often at premieres and press conferences. While the set up would have been simply, it would have been wholly effective. But in terms of the camera work here, I would most certainly recommend that you invest in a tripod; there were times that the camera kept shaking and tilting, and was about this close (*holds fingers really close together*) to becoming distracting.

My opinion: Ptown Steve is a clever character, and I would definitely watch more of his videos, if not only out of pure curiosity. However, this video, while it had some good lines spread throughout, could have been shot a little tighter.

Every amateur (I use that adjective with respect, of course) comedian has a bad habit that they eventually learn to overcome; yours is looking down at the floor while you pace. The joke is so much funnier when you look out into the audience the entire time; not only does it draw them more into your story, but it exhibits a level of confidence that will encourage the audience to go along with you every step of the way. This is especially important if you're going to continue posting your stand-up online. If you aren't engaging the audience sitting a few feet in front of you, imagine what the numerous strangers watching this on their computer screens are going to feel (or not feel) in regards to your comedy.

Now to the joke: the fact that the dog 'spoke' could have been developed even more, as could the concept of the puppy being your 'daughter.' Certain phrases like "bitch" and "you're fixed" were nice additions, and its definitely a bit you should keep developing. Unfortunately, your lack of confidence (or at least, that's what it came across to me as) was disconcerting and kept me from really enjoying what punchlines there were.

My opinion: I'd like to see more of your jokes. And since this was your second time to do stand-up, I'm going to assume that you are still in the tweaking stage for many of your bits. Keep up the work, and try to appear more confident next time.
