Hall of Fame
I'm a film director and impassioned lover of goldendoodles from Los Angeles, CA. Besides my Funny or Die videos, I make documentaries and edit fiction films. My last doc, The Record Breaker, was a comedic documentary about Ashrita Furman, the man with the most Guinness Records of all time. The film won the Audience Award at the Full Frame Documentary Festival, the Jury Award at the Palm Springs ShortsFest, was released theatrically as a part of DocuWeeks, and played a number of other festivals, including HotDocs, IDFA, RiverRun, Sarasota, Cleveland. Previously, I co-directed and edited the Matt Damon-narrated documentary American Teacher, which was released theatrically in 2011 by First Run Features and broadcast on television by the Documentary Channel. I recently edited Chris Messina's debut feature which will be released in early 2014. Besides my film work, I've been a contributor to The New Yorker and McSweeney's.
