Jake Iannarino's Blog: Patton Oswalt and the Dirty South
Sorry, guys, but if you want to see the Patton Oswalt vs. Chip Seinfeld episode, you will have to wait a bit. We are backed up in the editing room right now, and we have several hours worth of material we are chopping up. Not just for the "Chip Seinfeld" project, but for several other projects we are working on. None of which are good. Ha!
Mr. Oswalt was generous with his time and did some of the best acting i have seen in the project, yet. It is pretty exciting, but unfortunately, it will be a good while before we will show it to you. EDITING IS A BITCH. (the good news is... that's pnutfilms job!)
We just got done shooting some footage down south. Where down south? All over. They were so nice and supportive down there, I was shocked. The security guards gave us no hassle, and on occasion asked to be IN our shots! People were cool. I loved it. We came up with a new character down there that we think is pretty silly. IT WAS A BLAST.
We stayed at a red roof that seemed to be located on the corner of Crack and 8 Ball. It was a little dicey, but even the crackheads were friendly! "Yall want to pitch in for a rock, and then i'll make us all some grits?!"
I want to shoot more down there.

gotta love the south. even the crackheads are polite…kinda like the midwest with sexier accents.
