Poehler is hysterically funny. I have tears in my eyes.
I give Palin credit for doing this. She's a better sport than I thought. The fact she sat there while the moose was shot says something about her.
She would not make a good VP-- but entertainment is another story. She has a future there.

Ok, just watched it. Perhaps paling told McCain, Straight up, she obviously has NO political future, so she needs to ride out this 'popularity' wave while she can...in short, told him to F off.
Maybe she already knows she has no chance of winning so she's pulling a reverse-Arnold Schwarzenegger; going from politics to Hollywood.

It was funny when Janet Reno appeared to confront Will Ferrel's impersonation. It was hilarious when Bob Dole appeared to confront Norm MacDonald's impersonation. it does take me a couple seconds to really tell which is which. I think it helps with the gop base. As for undecides...who the fuck are those people?

Well, it certainly didn't help her to bring in campaign money like Colin Powell's endorsement. And isn't it ironic that Powell endorsed Obama just after Palin's appearance on SNL? Impeccable timing!

I think by now an SNL sketch probably wouldn't do much. I just think Palin said "yes" to going on, and SNL had to do it for ratings. But anyone can tell that there was an awkward vibe going on.
