Clarington Shpoo's Blog: What the hell is all this?

If you're browsing through these silly movies and wondering "What the hell is LearnFoTainment?", here's the skinny.  They're tiny pieces of a TV pitch.  That's why there's little rhyme or reason to 'em, you're seeing them entirely removed from within the context for which they were originally created.  They're actually kind of punchlines to much more involved visual jokes or live-action setups.  I figured, hey, I should post some of these, just to see if people find them amusing as stand alone pieces.

Myself and the other guys who conceived LearnFoTainment, we're all artists and animators; we all met while working on a couple of late-night series for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.  We all enjoyed working together, and LFT gave us an opportunity to collaborate once again.  Whether or not we get the chance to sell the idea remains to be seen; as I mentioned, the idea is a little more elaborate than these snippets imply.

This isn't exactly an Emmy speech, for Christsake, but I have to give a shout out to animator Ken McIntyre for his squeaky narration in the two "Ken Burnstyle" documentaries, and Kevin Gallegly for his (purposely) lame Maya 3D in the "MEXAR" preview.  Thanks, too, to Cornell Reid and Jordan Kim for their input.  Also, shouts out to Bob Odenkirk (for his 'pep talk'), Peter Serafinowicz (for his love), and Al Yankovic (for being such a mensch).  Special thanks to Tim and Eric for systematically freeing us up for other projects.
