  "You have got to be fucking kidding me," said myself to myself this morning as Republican Presidential candidate, John McCain (R) Arizona, suspended his campaign, and spoke in New York City at the Clinton Global Initiative.   McCain lectured us all, in dramatic style, this morning about the need for a 700 billion dollar bailout for his well healed, grey poupon slurping, out sourcing brethren.

  McCain, who has spent over 25 years in Congress, working tirelessly on the economy, now believes that suspending his campaign, to fix the economy - over the weekend - is the flag waving, school prayer kneeling, patriotic thing to do. 

  McCain, who has dropped dramatically in the polls of late, has stated that he was suspending his campaign due to a need to save the economy and the country. Some have speculated that McCain has suspended his campaign, not to save the economy, but to focus on saving his OWN CAMPAIGN. Politics as usual prevails in the United States of America, as McCain now has stated that he believes that the first presidential debate scheduled for Friday night should be postponed, again, stating that he needs to focus on the economic crisis - over the weekend.

Hmmm, is McCain suspending his campaign and postponing the first presidential debate to save the nation from economic disaster? Or, is the SENIOR senator from Arizona hoping to save his campaign from what appears to be a certain second place finish to Barack Obama at the polls in November.

Relax Johnny Boy, didn't you say a few weeks ago that the "fundementals of the economy are strong".
