In a reference to Katy Perry's summer song that invades your brain, "I Kissed a Girl" a chuch in Columbus, OH posted this sign on their billboard:
The pastor posted the sign said it was a loving reminder to teenagers that the Bible denounces homosexuality. He also said the video was like pornography. Isn't one of the most annoying things about the video the fact that Katy doesn't even kiss a girl? I don't know what kind of porn this pastor watches, but he's missing out if he thinks adult films just insinuate that girls might kiss each other.
This sign sparked us to look for other funny chuch billboards online. Whaddya know, we found a bunch. Here they are. Which ones do you like?

theres a church down the street from where i live, and it once had on its sign, “it feels good to have jesus inside you”

Wouldn’t it be funny if one of those churches believed we were brought here by aliens? And we all end up in a volcano? And we are controlled by some invisible monsters called “Thetons”? Oh, wait…

I just walked past one in NYC that said “Forbidden fruit creates many jams”. I loved it on so many levels.

Just saw a sign at a church yesterday that said:
“God Loves to Make it Reign On You.”

Some of those are dumb but others ones are awesome.
The Christmas/Channukah one and the free coffee one are hilarious. I’d go to those churches.
I’ve actually seen two of those (‘you think it’s hot…’ and ‘.. kneemail’ in front of churches around SAV. I think some churches have a magazine or bulletin that goes around to give them the puns because I’ve noticed quite a few repeats.
Ok, the Hanukkah one made me chuckle but there was a good snort or two when the rizzle for the sizzle came up.
I preferred the one about being in bed with enthusiasme not being in church. They’re all very cute and thought provoking! bo723
I liked "Jesus is the Rizzle for the Sizzle." They must be trying to bolster the number of their urban members, yo.
I once saw a church billboard that said " what kids need today is LSD! Love, Security and Dicipline.It made you make a double take!
There was a church a block from my house that had Jesus on a cell phone. Next to it was written "this month's message: Jesus is calling...will you answer?" Below that was a word-bubble for Jesus, saying "can you hear me now?"
It was all topped off with Jesus having a big car salesman smile like buddy christ.

Katy sucks but if she inspired this she is good for something. The funniest one is "Kneemail". The Hannuka one is pretty extra but so are most churches. The other thing that's funny about this is that that pastor is listening to pop music. I wonder what he thinks of Miley Cyrus?
