What is it about The American Flag that everyone in the Middle East wants to burn it.
Has Barak Obama came up with an idea to sell The Stars and Stripes to every fanatic in the most troubled region on the planet to fund his stimulus package.
Who has the concession to sell these flags in Iran,do they come free with a gallon of petrol and a box of matches.
Would you feel safe going into a shop in downtown Iran and asking for an American Flag for fear of getting dragged of the street and tortured to death for being a western sympathizer or are they given to you by the State.
Do they have Flag burning parties or do they only burn them for cameras.
Do the media act in collusion with the authorities as there is always a BBC or CNN reporter on hand
which brings me to another point if the west didn't report their hatred on a daily basis would we all just get along.
I can't wait until we find an alternative to oil.

Ignoring the demonstrations (or belittling them, a group of unemployable, mentally deficient Iranians set fire to an American flag today....) would probably slow that down. But ignoring the country would be a huge mistake.

There is an alternative to oil. As Bob Marley said -"Let my own feet be my carriages!" Ignore the flag burners and they'll look for something bigger and better to make their point and get their 15 minutes of fame. JJ
I agree with your media, but violence gets ratings. Read my "Bigger Fish to Fry' blog for a case in point.
Don't get me started with flag burning ritual some people think it's fun ~ so in response, I say this: If peanut oil comes from peanut and olive oil come from olives ~ where does baby oil comes from?
