We are out on the third and final leg of the tour right now. Friday night we had a show at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. It was our last college show.
It was a lot of fun, especially because there were a lot of friends and family in town for the show. I got to meet Will’s dad and all I can say about that is that I now know where Will gets his cool. I also met Henchy’s mom, who introduced herself to me by pointing at Henchy and saying, “I did good with that one.” Uh, no duh you did. As if that wasn’t enough, FOD’s intern, Brad was also in town shooting stuff for our skating sister site, Shred or Die.
North Carolina was colder than I expected it to be but also very easy on the eyes. Even the arena where we did the show was pretty.
Everyone had a great time in NC, and yesterday we flew to New York for our final show, tonight at Radio City Music Hall. I’m beyond thrilled to be in New York, and also more than a little sad that the tour is almost over. Real life is going to be so boring, especially now that I am used to starting my evenings like this:
The whole FOD Team is here in New York for the show and I can only imagine that tonight is going to be one for the books.

I just wanted to thank Will Ferrell for stopping by the UNC Dance Marathon on Friday night. I was one of the dancers involved, and I was unable to go to the show because of the marathon. We’d been standing up for about 5-6 hours at that point I’d guess (out of the full 24) and seeing him was such a wonderful surprise! Major kudos for helping us keep smiling ... more >
I completely forgot about Shred or Die, it’s a cool place.
Sooo is the tour done errr uhhh…I live in Michigan and I heard nothing of them even being on tour!
Personally I was disappointed with the show at UNC. I was expecting it to be Will Ferrell stand up….not Will Ferrell being the MC for some comedians that weren’t really that funny. I wanted to see them open for him….not them be the show…I won’t be back….
I’m lucky to say I attended the show at UNC last weekend and I LOVED it! I’ve been a fan of Will’s since SNL and always wanted the chance to see him live. Sucked that I had seats so far away, didn’t get good pics =( I’ve also been in love with Nick since Grandma’s Boy….hilarious. The only disappointment….It had to end. I wanted it to last forrreverrr =)
Please put up the video of Will as Ron Burgundy interviewing Roy Williams.. it was hilarious!
WILL UNC LOVES YOU! I wish we could have seen more of you, but the show was still AMAZING! Come back soon!

I too had to miss the Will Ferrell show at UNC because of Dance Marathon. If you could please pass the thanks of the dancers and committee members who were there to Will for stopping in to say hi, we’d be most appreciative. Great show out at UNC guys, I particularly liked the guys dressed up as the Anchorman crew who couldn’t pull it together for a little “Afternoon Delight.” I just have one question for Will after the fact, where did you get those dance pants?!
