I am so sad that Georgie Carlin, that skinny kid from Brooklyn, died on saturday at the age of 71. He didnt go to heaven or hell, or to purgatory...he's not "looking down on us", and he's not "with the lord"...he is...no more....he is...a memory... a memory that lives in all of us...like a collective dream...was he real?? damn right he was !!!...one of the only REAL americans left (besides Nader) he had the balls to call out all the lies, hypocracies and inconsistancies of the Nixons, Reagans, Bushs and both parties and the church...he called out the right wing, left wing, NRA, christians and SUV drivin' soccer moms...AND, the opprresive fascist corporations and the actual whoring politicians that sell us these shitty systems called "the FREE market"...and "democracy", what a lie that one is....well ya know what? I'll never forget ya georgie, and I will carry the flag and continue to expose the liars and hypocrites you nailed so eloquently........george carlin, gone back to the big electron.....keep buzzin georgie....I can still hear you.

I (Eddy G) used to watch George on HBO, yeah he wasn’t only just funny but he told the truth about the issues and about this country, Voting, Money problems and so on even though I that time when I was young watching it I used to also get my ass whooped cause I couldn’t watch HBO after 8pm but you get the point.

its a nice thought piffany, but george was a cynic to the end. but then again, now …he knows for sure!
Im sure Georgie is in a great place right now. Who knows he mite really be up in heaven smoking a joint with jesus. Who are we to say hes not?

Rigth arm, Ch. 59! The best way to remember Carlin is to produce the type of comedy that resonates for you.
One of thos old time comedy writers, Sol Saks, said that the sign of a true comedian is that you can go on stage even if just before you heard that your favorite Aunt died and STILL be funny.
And I know that’s what Carlin would want. Remember, but move... more >
