i have always admired the kind of person who could get up in front of a crowd and tell jokes. i know lots of folks owe an awful lot to him. i've personally enjoyed his performances and his books. take care, george.

Mike, great job posting this blog !! but george was more than a stand up comedian, he was the conciousness of a nation for a half century…..one of the few to call out the bullshit this country hides behind to allow jack offs like GW Bush and the like to “steal power” from the people…george carlin will be sorely missed…..him and russert the same month!! suchs !!
No doubt. George was a legend 35 years ago!
