Why do we try to make others laugh?

Because if we didn't, there would be a lot more chaos and suffering in the world. In the days of kings and "royalty" they had court jesters, to entertain the court and distract from the suffering of the many, caused by the selfishness of the few. The royalty felt that they "owned" everything, including the land and the people, because "god said so". and people accepted this shit for centuries.

Now we have a king, "W", who is also the jester, he's a fool and the world knows it. This country has been "drugged" unconscious for decades through the bullshit right wing media.

For Instance,  Reagan undercut everything that Roosevelt and Johnson accomplished to protect the working class, like breaking the unions, supressing wages and workers rights, deregulating banks (savings and loan crisis anyone), he also reduced the tax rate on the richest people who had paid 71% of income ABOVE 3 million dollars, Reagan dropped it below 30%...

now Bush is finishing off the middle class, by diverting the countries dwindling resources (by "cutting" their taxes) to the wealthy and corporations and by borrowing more money than any other president, effectively trashing the value of the dollar, effectively doing an "Enron" on the US population. They "wont raise taxes" (on the wealthy) but what is it when every good and service costs more due to the oil companies running of the show?? quid pro quo....the greatest heist in history !!

They have "appropriated 5 trillion dollars" from the US treasury for their war, tax give aways to energy corps and the rich, and no bid hiring of mercenaries (so called contractors) by the tens of thousand all this and created a huge debt for future generations.

We wont even talk about outing cia agents, wiretapping average americans, torturing people or just general shitting on the constitution.

It is, what it is.

Americans accept this so they deserve it to a degree...the fact that noone is outraged that people now appropriate billions of dollars, and lay claim to it as their personal wealth and say they "earned it". whats next ?? trillionaires ?? buy and sell chile or Peru.

the reason americans arent outraged ?? they think, "one day I'll be a billionaire". Heres the news... you wont...ever....you wont be a millionaire either.....the nature of consolidating wealth is that fewer people have more and more.....so get used to less and less...

OK, got that out of my system, now back to making you laugh so You wont be depressed about the state of the world.
