Hello out there in FOD land. it has come to my attention that many video uploaders out there are having a hard time getting views, comments and subscriptions. I am not an expert but I will pass on what I have figured out.

First, there are a lot of really creative and clever people out there. that gives me hope that we can all overcome CHRISTIANNEOCONBUSHWORLD, with our hearts and minds and funnybones.

Second, this format should be viewed as a "test ground" and not taken too seriously. It is a good way to get feedback from "average" people who dont know you and will be brutally honest with you, sometimes cruelly, but understand, they too are trying to be "funny". and thats cool with me. 

Understand, If you try to be witty and sarcastic in your comments, you are now a content provider and subject to the same "clever" criticisms (thank you rickyshoresingstheblues!), I learned even if youre joking, it may read as mean, so look before you leap.

So be positive in your postings, you'll find you attract what you put out.

You will not get a TV show out of this, Will is not actually watching or posting, he's too busy making millions on the big screen. So is Jed and Adam and KITH , etc. THIS IS A MARKETING TOOL, so use it to your advantage.

When I first uploaded, I uploaded 7 and a half minute long CHANNEL 59 episodes I had used on MySpace in 2006. WarPEd CoRp commented "funny, but way too long", I took it to heart and created a 45 second show from old indie films I had done, re dubbing the audio of my character to make him an idiot (maybe he was already?) I also edited down other sketches to under 2 minutes, once, as short as 18 seconds.

It worked much better. people seem to like it (not everyone). I think its because this is something people watch on a computer, not a television, different experience, less time to invest. So think about that before posting a 22 minute long concept.

Hey, I enjoy making people laugh, whether its onstage for an audience of 12 or in video form online, if ONE person laughs... I feel I have done my job.
