I love to communicate through written words... writing is my evolving niche! I believe that you can tell a lot about a person, just by reading their words... even more than you can when they are speaking.

Dear Ladies Hood Journal, By now I’m sure that every American has heard the statements that Hillary Clinton made, publicly, regarding former President Lyndon B. Johnson’s support of Martin L. King Jr. Well that’s not the bad part! The real disgrace is the derogatory statements that BET Founder, Robert L. Johnson, made against Obama in support of Clinton! Well today I took action, and sent Mr. Johnson a letter to contactus@bet.com I encourage all of you in support of Obama, to write a letter also. With your support, I am faithful that Mr. Johnson will recognize that his speeches are evidence that Uncle Tom does exist and the crab effect is in full force.
01-14-08 Dear Robert L. Johnson, I am outraged by the derogatory statements that you made publicly, against Senator Obama! Mr. Obama has publicly stated that he, nor his affiliates, has responded to the statements made by Senator Hillary Clinton regarding Lyndon B. Johnson’s support for Martin L. King Jr. However, the news media has extensively covered Mrs. Clinton’s statement, exploited her intent, and instigated further discord between democrats. Meanwhile, you publicly, made statements against Obama and his conglomerates, without being fully informed. You did not give Obama the benefit of doubt. A prior conversation with Obama, to gain his perspective, is the least that I would expect, before you begin to turn the black voters away from the first qualified black candidate that America has seen. I agree with you in one regard; during his presidency, Bill Clinton did address some of the issues that face black America. Nonetheless, no matter how involved, Bill Clinton never fully supported nor could he understand the plight of the average black citizen. Bill Clinton managed to balance the American budget; nevertheless, he failed to balance the socioeconomic inequality. During his presidency, police officers continued to target me, attempting to criminalize me, for driving while black. Black men, especially in urban and low-income communities, continued to be brutally attacked by police officers. He never managed to address the growing population of black men in the correctional facilities. He ignored the fact that a large number of black men are in prison, for crimes that they did not commit. Clinton also ignored the fact that black men receive stiffer sentences for crimes than their white counter-parts. Bill Clinton never addressed the fact that America does not offer equal opportunities for blacks or equal pay. Race relations, in America were unimproved and left unaddressed during his presidency. Today, Black America is faced with the opportunity for change and equality. With Obama as president, for the first time in history, we will a black man in power, who understands how it feels to be treated unequally because of the color of his skin. Particularly, in the south, blacks have yet to realize Martin L. King’s dream of equality. Please do not stand in the way of justice. Please discontinue your “crab” language, as it seeks to undermine freedom and equality for all. In conclusion, thank you in advance for taking the time to read my letter and address to the derogatory statements that you made against Obama and his conglomerates. Obama is deserving of an apology from you and a retraction of the derogatory statements that you publicly made against him. I am one that has suffered the effects of racism and inequality. Sincerely yours, Beauty Answering the call as a servant of truth and justice
