Description: Election auditors at a loss to find correlation between campaign funds sources and Initiative 502, the campaign to legalize recreational drug use in Washington State.
Washington State election auditors released contribution figures from this year's election.

For the state's Initiative 502, favoring the legalization and regulation of marijuana in the state, the campaign in favor of that initiative received 89% of their total funds from the Southland Corp., owners of the 7-11 convenience stores. A further 5% was contributed by Nissan Foods, makers of Top Ramen.

State auditors are trying to understand the connection.
