It may be America's pastime, but Japan is doing it right.

Say that you are a person who is terrified of horror movies, like The Ring and The Grudge … and we’re talking the watered-down American versions of those flicks, not even the real scary Japanese originals! Well, for once in your life chill the funk out, okay!? Japan doesn’t want to hurt you.

Here is a video of the The Ring girl (Sadako) and the The Grudge girl (Kayako) at theirleast terrifying, by which we mean here is a video of them playing baseball against each other at Saporro Dome in Japan to promote their new movie Sadako Vs. Kayako. Also present are Kayako’s son who runs the bases for her, plus a gaggle of furry character mascot assistants that we don’t recognize.

It’s the type of thing that would never happen in America, because for some reason the scariest thing we ever let happen in a baseball stadium is when that giant ketchup and mustard race each other around the field.

If you, like us,I mean not us just you, have been afraid of The Ring ever since you first saw it over a decade ago and you have been searching for something to comfort you for years, then you already know that Sadako’s been in the baseball game for years, going at least as far back as 2012 when she threw in the first pitch at Tokyo Dome and immediately fell down, making us — whoops, we mean you, still you — much less fearful and able to move on with our lives.
