Watching the Golden Globes on TV, it feels pretty easy to get caught up in whatever’s onscreen. With everything going on, it would almost seem possible to completely forget the audience is there if it weren’t for all those cuts to George Clooney and other very famous celebrity superstars! So it’s nice to hear a bit about the behind the scenes–in this instance, how Girls star Andrew Rannells grew to accept his placement at the Foxcatcher table and how he and Seth Meyers each sought out a nominee to try to talk to during commercials.

The way they explain it, the Golden Globes sound almost like prom or a school cafeteria! But with VIP Hollywood celebrities, of course.
