Our Winter Project
When we got back from the Surfer’s Healing experience in San Diego, Patti and I were wondering what kind of thing we could do for kids with autism here in Salem, Oregon? Answer: Soap Box Racing.
Salem is one of the cities in the U.S. that has an official soap box track. Well, the Perron Brothers are going to build a custom tandem soap box with the help of our talented friends so that Owen and other kids with disabilities can experience the thrill of downhill racing.
And of course, we’ll be documenting the process because that’s what we do. We’ll keep you all informed as it comes together.
