A review of the movie Busty Housewives Vol. (2015)

This is the fifth installment of the Busty Housewives franchise, but characters are still underdeveloped. They have even changed the whole cast for this one. To be honest, throughout the series there is no stable plot or any sort of character development.
The whole series is known for the fact that the activities that the characters initiate never get to an end. One can say that by not further exploring a larger story or even the characters, these movies are making a comment on themselves. This is a series of metafictional stories about giving up.

The first story in Vol. 5 is that of a piano tuner that comes in for a service, and ends up getting distracted. The piano,it turns out, is never tuned. In other section, the pool boy never gets his job done, the same with the plumber. Is it a comment on how we are now constantly being distracted by our gadgets, and overload with information? I bet.

“You’re going to be tuning more than that piano in a second”

Another really upsetting thing is that after only 5 minutes the audience knows everything that is going to happen. The plot is not only predictable, but the gist of each story is summarized in the initial montage. Experienced audiences are less likely to be surprised anyway. But they go one step further by giving it away. You hope that what leads from one plot point to another will surprise you, and let me tell: it won’t.

Final assessment: Busty Housewives Vol. 5 is underdeveloped and predictable. Watch it for the sex.
