The following is a correspondence I had with an online scammer. I have cut and pasted it so you can begin reading from the top. The part of the Gay BFF with a heart of gold will be played by me. The part of Christina is being played by some Nigerian in Spain. (Please note: My favorite part is where my last message to this guy gets flagged by him). I call it "Fishing for Chad". Please Enjoy.

I'm so glad to hear back from you. 2,500EUR will cover all our expenses including our taxi fee to the airport, we promise to refund it to you as soon as we arrive home. You can wire it to my name via a western union agent near you for security reasons cos the name written below is whats on my passport and that can be a mode of identification to pick up the cash at a western union down the road here (faster and more secured).
Here are the details you need to get it to us:
 Name -Christina Harrison
Address: Plaza de Santa Ana 14, 28012 Madrid, Spain
I still have my passport so I can use it as identification, email me the transfer details and the confirmation number.
Thanks.... I would want you to take this as a life saving Moment i will never forget.

Of course. I'm glad I could help a friend in need. It sounds so awful about your mugging. They didn't rape you did they? I sure hope not. Although I did warn you about wearing those thigh high leather boots after dark. I sure hope you learned your lesson girl!

Anyhooters, I'm gonna hop on my bike now and go down to the local Western Union to wire you your money. You're lucky I bet on the Celtics last night. I won over $40,000 on that game. Can you believe it!!

Let me know when you get the money cause I'm not used to this Western Union thing.

Also, please don't forget to pick me up a Toblerone from the airport.

Hugs and Kisses

Okay, once you have it done do get back to me with the western union confirmation number to picip up the cash.

Hanging in here to hear back from you.

Ok girlfriend. I've been praying for you the whole way down to Western Union. I'm on line right now. I parked my Shwinn outside. It's the new purple one with the kick ass basket we saw at "Cycles and Thangs". I hope nobody steals it, LOL.

The guy working the counter here is super cute. He reminds me of that Cuban guy we double teamed in Mazatlan last Summer, LOL!! I can't believe how long it took you to get rid of that rash! Girl you are soooo cray!!

Do you want me to call your mom and tell her you are OK while I'm waiting here?

Let me know, girl,

St. Chaddeus of East Chaddington

P.S. don't forget about the Toblerone.

Hey sweetie, so I got to the counter and I was about to wire you the money and I got to talking with that super cute guy who works here. (His name is Bernardo by the way and his parents own a Guatemalan deli in Pasadena. I asked him if he had any tasty sausages there that I could sample and he said "Maybe"!! I'm such a whore).

So I told Bernardo what I was wiring the money for and he warned me about these scams that people do to take your money on the Internet. He got me kind of nervous. Is there anyway I can call you??

You know I'm Chad, I'm Chad, you know it.

P.S. think Toblerone.
